Puppies in our new families and homes.

10 Weeks Old. These three girls were off to the vet to get ears and rears checked, weights taken and micro-chipped. Big girls weighs 22 pounds.
Either pups go on a diet or the vet is needing a bigger scale :)

9 Weeks Old. Most of the black is almost gone, still fading. Puppies are getting big and wishing for some warm weather.
|
|
|
|
7 Weeks Old. Finally enough sunshine to get them outside on the deck. It has ben rain, snow, rain, snow.
|
|
|
|
|
6 1/2 Weeks Old. Running after 12 puppies keeps me very busy. About the only chance to take pictures is nap time.
They are getting big. Next week, a trip to the vet for their puppy check up, puppy shots, and to get micro-chiped.

5 1/2 Weeks Old. Dark ones are blowing the black coat and getting into their real color.

4 Weeks Old. They need more room. Out of the whelping box.

3 Weeks Old. Eyes are open, they are up on their feed and eating from a dish. Getting very cute.

Chrismas day and just over 2 weeks old. The Min Pin is keeping good gaurd.

1 Week Old. Puppies and mom are all doing great.
|
|
|
Day Five. Puppies and mom are all doing great. So many puppies only so many nipples so we
are sublimenting the smaller ones so they can keep up.
|

Day One, just born. La De Dah went into labor early morning December 8th, just ahead of a really bad storm. With 12 puppies
on the way, we made the decision to go ahead and delivery them c-section. Before delivery La De Dah weighed 115 pounds,
after deliver she weighed 97 pounds. 18 pounds of puppy growing and 12 puppies that weigh over one pound at birth.
We have 8 girls and 4 boys. 3 of the girls are ridgeless. Nice ridges on the remaining 9 puppies. Pretty heads, nice long
tails, very little white. Puppies and mommy are all alert and doing great. We are rotating them 6 puppies at a time in and out
of the whelping box to nurse.
